His father told DawgNation.com on Wednesday his son’s first offer actually came about “two or three days ago” but he wanted to hold on to the news so he could tell the eighth-grade running back on his 15th birthday. You read that right. That’s for the Class of 2020. The middle school phenom is six feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds and has already clocked a 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. That’s a laser time.
Cool. We have a Class of 2020 thread, but no 2019 thread?
So Tanner McKee a 5* QB graduating high school in 2018 is visiting Stanford this week. He's LDS and plans to take a mission so really a 2020 recruit. We have not offered him yet, but it's looking like a battle between us and BYU.A Google search of "Tanner McKee Stanford" turned up the following on the first page:http://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=17217442Basically they are making the case for their version of the 40-year decision.
"I'm going to Bama this weekend and can't wait," McKee said. "Tosh Lupoi (Bama LB coach) was at my game on Friday and they have been recruiting me hard all year."Stanford will be on (Nov. 25) and BYU (Feb. 3). I'm planning to visit Washington in November as well. I was supposed to go this past weekend but had an issue with my flight so I'm going to reschedule that one. Everyone is still in it and I haven't eliminated anyone. Like I said, I'm taking the visit with an open mind and will make a decision closer to Signing Day."
