The inability of the passing game to get the ball down the field is really disheartening.

Stanford vs ORST game thread - stupac2 - 11-05-2016

Not sure why this hasn't been posted yet. After a bad turnover (yet another fumbled snap, they're getting ridiculous) and a pi on Meeks the beavers missed a 26 yard field goal. We put together a decent drive that got stopped by a near sack at the 35 and Shaw opted for the 52 yard field goal, which Ukropina nailed. So far Chryst is 4/4, but had that fumble. We also haven't had a play longer than six yards or so. We'll need to stretch the field.

Also of note, it looked like Fanaika was carted off, but there was no announcement.

On offense, I'm seeing poor timing and execution on the little things.  A better fake to CMAC on that option would have opened up the field for Chryst.

Herbeig threw a great block to spring Love on the long touchdown run.  Herbeig looks like the real deal.

True the blocking was great, but I was most impressed by the patience Love showed which was Mccaffrey-esque. We know he is fast, but he showed patience and vision before turning on the jets.

FoxSports1 finally begins to carry the game, just into the 2nd quarter.  The picture looks over compressed.  Sigh...
At least the score looks good.
