Stanford-Oregon game thread - HisKneeWasDown - 11-12-2016

Let's get this party started!

Oregon ranks 115th in rushing defense (238.7 YPG) and 114th in passing defense (296.6 YPG). Will we see a balanced attack today? Or will Shaw see the rushing stat and lean on his best player? Or will this be a breakout game for Chryst?

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - CornFed - 11-12-2016

Yes.

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - Stymie - 11-12-2016

One thing you can say about the Ducks is that their Defense is finely balanced.......

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - JohnR34231 - 11-12-2016

My guess is that Shaw sticks to the run until and unless he is forced to do otherwise.

Having said that, if he does decide to pass and Chryst has a breakout game you won't hear any complaints from me.

That's good news.  That means big holes for CMAC to run through.  That also means better pass protection.

He carried the US flag in when the team entered.

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - Mick - 11-12-2016

Three-and-out, pass right through the hands and McCaffrey ready to receive punt.

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - martyup - 11-12-2016

Now let's keep the O offense off the field for 8 or 9 minutes.

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - martyup - 11-12-2016

Our offense sucks.

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - Gauss - 11-12-2016

If the Oregon QB is as good as they say, and their defense is starting to play better... :(

That was more like 8-9 seconds.

Re: Stanford-Oregon game thread - Mick - 11-12-2016

False start.  Wonder how sloppy the ducks are going to be?  And I wonder how bad the refs are going to be?  They snapped the ball on a play prior to the sticks being moved.

Herbert, thrown for a loss, about six yards.  4th and 7.
