Don't hold your breath but in the 3rd Q unranked Syracuse is leading second ranked Clemson.

With 11:17 remaining in the 3rd, Syracuse has 17 first downs to Clemson's 9.  Syracuse has 283 yards of offense to Clemson's 175.  Pretty shocking.

Syracuse is hanging tough.  It's 24-24 at the start of the 4th quarter and they're driving.  The Syracuse QB is playing a massively impressive game, especially considering the Clemson pass rush.

Clemson went for a fake punt and missed it. Less than 6 minutes and the Orange are near midfield, up 3.

Syracuse has the ball at mid-field with a 3rd and 11 with 3:08 remaining and a 3 point lead.  You could make a diamond in Dabo's @@s right now if you had a lump of coal.

Syracuse with a QB sneak for a first down with 1:37 remaining.  Reining National Champion Clemson is going down.

Postscript:  Refs are reviewing the first down spot.  Confirmed!  Syracuse runs out the clock.

If we lose to someone like Oregon and beat WSU and UW, then we would want them both to have two or more losses so it might matter, but seems like an unlikely circumstance.

I have to turn it off, but Falk just threw his 2nd pick into the endzone (3rd TO?) and it's still 10-3. Maybe the Cougs aren't as used to the smoke...
