Temperature at game time is 77 degrees. Doesn't look like there wil be any snow.

Didn’t know that the women’s water polo team went to China.  Looks like a fun trip.

BC

Colorado elected to receive, so for a change we start the game playing defense.

BC

Defense looking as stout as it was against Arizona, I see.

Yikes. Wow that was a bad defensive series.

Hopefully, we will do better against the non-scripted plays, because
the scripted plays worked like a charm.

In 1983 I went to lunch with then Defense Coordinator Fred Von Appen.  It was just before the season started and we asked how the defense looked. His response: “not very good. We’re small.  But we make up for it because were slow.” We thought he was kidding and laughed. He wasn’t. They went 1-11.

That’s with this defense looks like to me at times soft and slow a really bad combination

It looked like Adebo had a chance to get a brobdingnagian pop on the QB, and he either whiffed or was protecting himself...

Sometimes it looks like we don't have enough players.  On a lot of the 3 man rushes, we still had no gap control and lanes were wide open...

Wow, that was a miserable defensive series.

Minn gets late pick. Victory formation. Good for them!!

Offense is looking good, with a nice variety of runs and passes and involvement of a lot of different players, including Jones and Peat.

That was a fricking catch

RE: Ok, time for next to start (CU game thread) - BostonCard - 11-09-2019

I think Wilson May have had that.  The play did not get reviewed, and we have to kick a field goal.

Nice kick by Sanborn, but field goals won’t be enough.

Well, the offense showed a lot on that drive. I don't think we will have issues
keeping up in terms of scoring.

He did.  If the Flippin throw was on time it would’ve been an easy catch but it was thrown late. As I said below why they roll Costello out is beyond me.

Yes i think it was.  Right leg was in when the ball got to him.  Contra the announcers, it didn’t look like he bobbled it.

Let's see if the D can get a stop this time.  The Buffs moved the ball at will last series.

I am very unimpressed by the defense’s tackling ability (or lack thereof).

Tackling is just lousy.

And they compound it by taking bad angles.

Nice stuff by Schauffer, though.
