I wasn't going to do any more of these again this season, but Davis, Wills, and Williams are out today, so I doubt my bad luck with starting these threads is really going to do any additional damage.

I don't know how the players feel, but we fans have to be pleased (and amazed) we're tied at halftime to the Bruins with ZW, BW, and DD out.

Stanford playing with its starting 5 almost exclusively. Only 1 point from the bench. But they are playing great! Everyone contributing. Stanford up 6 with 90 seconds to play.

Wow. Stanford wins as Da Silva scores on an inbounds play with 0.8 seconds left.
The key to winning was great, great defense. Very good free throw shooting mattered.
But where does Da Silva rank among Stanford's all-time great players? I will never forget this game, that's for sure.

Great inbounds play and you gotta give Haase and McConnell and Da Silva props for drawing it up. But also, if you are UCLA, how the hell do you lose Da Silva in traffic. He's only, I don't know, arguably the best player in the conference. Perhaps its karma for the "jackass UCLA coach".
