Damn!  So many missed opportunities.  Missed field goals, turnovers,  field goals instead of touchdowns.  So close yet so far.

Yeah, like I said it was the way we played in the bad old days. We played just well enough to lose.

And I still think Oregon just played better when it counted.

Good to have a full game cushion. ND just for shits and giggles (and winning always beats losing) now.

Got to give credit to Oregon.

I will grumble about the missed hold on the first pass attempt to Taboada.

But costly turnovers and a very good defensive effort by the Ducks are what made the difference, truly.

Oddly, I do feel this Stanford team is potentially on the same level as 2010, 2011. Not sure I believed that until tonight, but the defense in the fourth quarter and Hogan's passing just made clear the high, high ceiling when things are clicking.

A great team. Just not the greatest result tonight.

If Stanford canʻt be in the CFP then I donʻt want ND in the CFP as well.  Stanford needs to beat ND for bragging rights and confidence builder for the Pac 12 championship game.  Of course, beat Cal first.
