Re: WGolf @ NCAA tourney - oldalum - 05-25-2016

interesting choice to put Stackhouse against Rhee instead of Kersten. Maybe Walker thought Rhee was so hot, and playing like a fearless freshman instead of a scared freshman, that she thought she needed Stackhouse to get that point.

Not keen on the matchups.  Everyone in our lineup could beat Rhee, and we have our monster, Stackhouse, against her.  Seems a waste of our ice queen.

Stackhouse and Kim are heavily favored, and Aubert a brobdingnagian underdog, and Kirsten has played poorly all week.  She won yesterday afternoon only because her opponent totally collapsed.

So once again, Danielsen looks like the key match, vs. #44 Luo.  Before the tourney, Luo would be a strong favorite.  Not now.

Fatigue and pressure will be brobdingnagian.
The latter certainly favors us, because our top four all played in last year's championship win.

Knocking out the Dookies with a 3-sweep always warms my heart :)

Aubert is playing better golf than Thomas right now.  Putting aside, I thought she looked great yesterday against Carta.

Btw, here is the experience profile of the Washington lineup - 2 seniors, 3 frosh

vs. Stanford - 2 seniors, 1 junior, 1 soph, 1 frosh

Final edit - this is how Washington beat UCLA - http://www.golfchannel.com/media/hero-ball-uws-rhee-holes-out-go-final/

I wonder if those UW frosh will ever see their senior seasons as they may go pro... :)  Also, there's certain no love lost between Oregon football fans and Stanford football fans.
