Didn't Shultz tweet something about wishing the game was mic'ed up because the trash talk was great? I bet that had something to do with it.

I'm wondering if the he rates the great trash talk as coming from himself or the opposition or teammates.
I really hope we get to see him catch and run some more. Same with Irwin and Rector. As much as I love watching McAffrey rack up the yards, I like to watch a more balanced offense. And those guys have been hyped for their abilities enough that I'd like to see them used more.

Well, Schultz gets
used a lot, as seen in that pretty great clip, and seems to be one of the better TE blockers we have had lately.
I am quite sure we'll see more and more of Love.
I am less sure how much passing we will see this year. Presumably at least a little more than our current rate of 16.5 attempts per game.
Right now we have the fourth fewest passing attempts in division 1, with only the service academies having fewer. That that's cheating a little bit, we're seventh fewest attempts per game with three other option teams throwing less (Ga Tech, Ga Southern, Tulane).

I think it's great that Stanford is 2-0 with so few passing attempts. Burns has proven he can throw the ball well and connect with receivers. He has yet to prove he can do it when the game is on the line. As he gets more experience running the offense the game will slow down for him. If we can run the ball and stay ahead of our opponents, why risk throwing the ball? Shaw's game plan is ball control, limiting the opponents T.O.P. So far, so good.
