Looks like the quotes have been fixed, perhaps a bit too well; they are now larger than the text. In any case, it is an impressive job changing the display of the cardboard in such short order.

I love the new site! I just increased the width of my browser (on my desktop) so that the top navigation area (with red background) doesn't need additional space to accommodate the search entry. I noticed that when you search on a word, the results highlight that word in orange, which I think is based on the original template that was used. Tiny detail I thought you might be interested in. Awesome updates. If only there were a Android app for the game threads 8).

One minor thing I just noticed, the warning when someone else modifies a thread while you're writing a post is quite hard to read now, with red text on a red background. Like I said it's pretty minor since all of us will know what happened, but less frequent visitors might be confused.

I just noticed that reputation is now shown as a single number, presumably the net of pluses and minuses. +1

Need help in reading thecardboard.
I like the new format and appreciate all that Yvonne and others have done to make this such a vital and interesting board, so I feel bad about airing a problem, but I do need some advice.
Permission granted to treat me like a techno-idiot. I read almost all thecardboard posts on my iPad. I believe it is second generation, with that vintage IOS and Safari (if any of that matters). The problem I am having stems from the fact that I am no longer able to pinch and zoom in the new format. As a result, it is nearly impossible for me to proceed from one page to the next (same thread) using the tiny digits at the bottom of the page. Is there any way to enlarge them--or, is there some way to proceed from page to page that avoids using the small digits. "Next," of course takes me to the next thread, not the next page. If anyone can assist in this, I would be very grateful. Does anyone else use an iPad, and have or not have this problem? All suggestions welcome.
BTW, I got a big kick out of all the guys and gals who professed "concern" when thecardboard was down for a day or so. I was in unmitigated panic, hyperventilating after 10 minutes. How could I continue on if there were no more Cardboard? Now if anyone can help me navigate..... TIA.

Yeah, I noticed that I couldn't pinch zoom on my android device running Chrome. It does make it more difficult to tap those page links. Still, it's much better overall.

This is the same problem that I pointed out with my Android equipment. The new design is coded to block zooming on mobile devices. In Android, the solution was to switch to Chrome browser, go to the accessibility settings for the browser and select the option to over-ride no-zoom requests by web sites. I don't know enough about iPad to give you specific advice because I am in an Apple-free home. You should check to see if any of the browsers on your equipment have a similar option setting.
