Wow. I was impressed by her. Not that it wasn't anyway, but ASU will be in a deep rebuild next season.

Maybe, but she should work on putting a good outfit together too.

Really? We are now judging coaches, women at least, on the basis of their clothing style? Gosh, maybe Tara should be downgraded or upgraded depending up on how well she reflects our idea of fashion. Or maybe we should make sure David .Shaw dresses “right”. I’m all for humor and I wouldn’t put bounds on it. But I think you will find that is not the ethic of this board . Or maybe I’ll find that anything goes. We’ll see.

I seem to recall an article about Harbaugh’s sartorial choices (or lack thereof, as I recall, the just of the article was that his closet is full of identical khakis so he doesn’t have to think about getting dressed).
That being said, the point stands. Sadly, women get scrutinized for their choice of clothing much more than men, even when (or especially when) their dress has almost nothing to do with their job. Whatever you think of Mulkey as a coach, her clothing should has nothing to do with it.

Respectfully disagree. Her jacket tosses are famously a tactical choice to work the refs and fire up her players, and the more sequined the jacket, the more fired up they get.

Ridiculousness is always fair game for scrutiny. Mulkey takes it to a new level. Her clothing choices have little or nothing to do with her coaching ability. Her coaching style is another subject, to which many have strong negative opinions, including me. BTW, humor is always welcome and is certainly part of the ethic of this board.
