That is the situation as described to me in a text message from the bard (OK, fine, it was a senior member of the band who'd had a jack-and-coke).

CONSIDERING TRANSFERRING OUT, AND PROBABLY RIGHTEOUSLY PISSED, BECAUSE SHAW'S SENDING A VALUE JUDGEMENT MESSAGE TO HIM AND ALL OF US BY NOT GIVING HIM ANY REPS AT ALL WHILE CONTINUING TO PLAY AVSTARTER WHO'S A JOKE. LOOK, MIKE RILEY SAT MANNION DOWN THE OTHER NIGHT, AND SABAN AND SPURRIER HAVE HOOKED THEIR STARTERS FOR LESS JUST TO SPUR COMPETITION. IF THE DECISION WAS SO HARD TO BEGIN WITH, THIS IS INSANITY.

uh-oh, we're back to all-caps johnnyo :) have you seen the man in person? he's pretty much the Incredible Hulk of the Cardboard (by my eye test, until David DeCastro decides to join the board).

My first memories of johnnyo on this board were the all-caps version :)Â I guess you do have to yell to be heard above the noise in the Thunderdome?

I've been keeping an eye on that place, and I have to give lex24 a lot of props. They were absolutely flying off the handle, and he is single-handedly restoring order.

Shaw's predictable play calling without play action is putting us into situations where we need to throw the ball and Nunes tightens and can't deliver. We all sit in the stands and know what play is coming. Remember Dana Bible (UGH)? "....and it's Bookman up the middle."Â
Luck had the intelligence to get us out of Shaw's predictable sets based on what he saw at the line, not so with Nunes.  I feel sorry for Stepfan as he's taking a beating as the DC's know what is coming. That was the ugliest win I've seen in some time!
