Man, I hope our guys pull it out.  They have worked so hard to get to this point and it would suck for them to fall short tonight.

How do you spell CR*P!

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - needle - 09-24-2016

Shaw just has to trust Burns, receivers. If not, recipe for losing.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - HisKneeWasDown - 09-24-2016

Feels like a classic Shaw playbook. Keep the game close, run down the clock, win on the last possession.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - BostonCard - 09-24-2016

Rector has been quiet so far.

Also feels like our O-Line is winning the trench warfare. Also very Shae.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - jacketree - 09-24-2016

Begging for play action.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - BostonCard - 09-24-2016

I can't figure out who Burns was throwing to.

I like this strategy when we are winning by 10 or heck even just winning.

I don't like it when it's close and Q4.

We are definitely winning the special teams battle.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - jacketree - 09-24-2016

Wisely threw it away. No one open.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - needle - 09-24-2016

If Stanford somehow wins this, D gets the game all for sure.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - jacketree - 09-24-2016

There is a boatload of time left. Game is there for the taking.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - TRD - 09-24-2016

A fast 3 and out would put a tired UKLA front 7 back on the field.

Has anyone else noted the number of 'leading with the helmet' tackles UKLA is attempting/making?  It's kind of stunning.

Re: Stanford at UCLA Game Thread - Rando - 09-24-2016

I like Burns. Dude seems like he's going to be a solid QB. The interception was a bonehead mistake but he's got a lot of good qualities. I think he can be a very good QB for us. I like the toughness and attitude he brings.
