I think Alfieri is our best linebacker, which may not say much.

McCaffrey is the team's leading receiver tonight. It's typically not ideal for your running back to hold that distinction, but he was the team's leading receiver last year and that worked out alright.

Hey all.
At a conference in Orlando, and just got back to my room to read through the thread to get caught up on the game. Looks like CM has had a good game, that Chryst has been mediocre, and our defense has played well. Is that about right?

Anyone else happy that Rich Rod chose to kick the field goal? STill a three possession game.

Yup, that about sums it up.

Why kick the FG there? Not that I'm really complaining, but being down 17 and being down 20 aren't that different with only a bit over a quarter to go. The distance was long, sure, but does RichRod really think he'll get three stops and three scores?

That was too strange. I'm thinking his knee must have been down.

This broadcast is infuriating, why don't you show a replay there? Love's knee may have been down or something, I refuse to believe that Pac-12 refs are dumb enough to blow forward progress after a tenth of a second. They're pretty dumb, but that would be exceptional.

These refs are terrible

Refs have been less than stellar.

An of exceedingly small proportions performance, one might say.

OK, maybe the refs were right on that one.

It's late, and I'm only in the Mountain Time Zone. I feel sorry for you people on the east coast.

After the Zona three-and-out, I'd like to see Chryst make one play this series that shows he has a chance to be the QB of the future.

Chryst completely missed (as in did not see) a wide open Schultz down the field on a playaction pass on 4th down. Instead he had a pass to the flat that was batted down.Â

I'm following the game through this thread and a less-than-great ESPN box score play-by-play...
