Stackhouse has nerves of steel!

Okay, that was just nails. Especially after Davis' miracle shot at 16 when it looked Mariah could square it up there.
Well done Mariah!

Unreal finish against just an outstanding Baylor player.
It's sudden death

Do they go to #1 or do they play #18. What happened yesterday with Baylor and Duke?
Also, got to be very difficult to be Davis at this point. The thing was there to win with just a simple halve. Would much rather be Stackhouse at this point. Though in golf the trick of managing emotions makes it a bit less of an advantage.

Playing #10

That #10 is not ideal.
Davis had 3 birdies in stroke play. And then pars in quarters and semis. Today's bogey was the first.
Stackhouse had pars until today's birdie.
#1 or #18 again would have been better. :(

Stackhouse on the green 20-25 feet for birdie. Davis misses the green left but not a difficult up and down. Except of course for the stakes - a national championship.

Is it chosen randomly?

I would have taken 18 again. 18's right next to the clubhouse and the spectators don't have to move, right? Why 10?
But hey, mojo rising, right? MojoStacksBirdies...not a bad (new) twitter handle for her!

Funny that twitter says these puts are shorter. I guess they are more optimistic. :)

She just misses. Par is conceded, so now the Baylor player is putting to extend the match... And she misses! Stanford wins!

Davis slides her 5 foot par putt past the right edge. Oof, that's a tough way to go out.
But yay!

That's a tough way to lose for Baylor, but that was one h*ll of a comeback by Mariah.

Stackhouse missed her birdie (it curled to the left at the hole) but was conceded a par. Davis had a 4-5 footer to extend the match. She missed right. Stackhouse's putt broke. Davis's did not.
Stanford women's golf - NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
