Time for the traditional end of big game unsportsmanlike penalties!

WOW!!!  love is super fast!

Um... yeah.  Did you not see him against Colorado?

It's just fascinating and amazing to see him run.  He doesn't get the ball enough that when he makes a play like that, it's incredible to see.

Randy Hart looks like one of those cartoon football coaches.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Dykes throws in the towel.  I know it is a three score game with 5 minutes left, so it looks dire for Cal no matter what.  But what's the difference between a 35-16 loss and 42-16 loss? Yeah, it's fourth and long deep in your own territory, but punting concedes the game.  Going for it at least tells your players that you are going to fight till the final minute.

Can't believe Kal punted. Wasn't that pretty much throwing up the surrender flag?

Re: Big Game Thread - needle - 11-21-2015

Barry J time, I hope.

Re: Big Game Thread - jacketree - 11-21-2015

Traditional Rose Bowl this year no matter what.

And a long night on the couch......yikes😀

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Not counting the KR TD, Stanford scored a TD on 4 of their 7 drives. That's 4 points per drive. For context, Baylor is being lauded for putting up 2.81 on Oklahoma State .

McCaffrey is at 350+ all purpose yards.  Only needs about 20-some for the record.  Alas, he probably won't get it; three runs into the teeth of the defense.

Another quick score would be nice.  Maybe a long bomb to a WR or TE.  Or just let  McCaffrey rack up more yards.  Add more padding to his stats

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Telecast has been sloppy....think we've missed three plays coming out of the break...

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Dave Flemming needs to recount some axe lore here...they're basically setting him up for it.

Re: Big Game Thread - needle - 11-21-2015

Speaking of sloppy, how bad is the field going to be next week? Still love that it's grass, though.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Obligatory reliving of the copulating play.  His knee was still down.

Re: Big Game Thread - dabigv13 - 11-21-2015

Oh come on! Now this telecast is really crap. Showing the play  ::)

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Ruined an otherwise nice game.  I really wish they would only show that at likely Cal wins (so, hopefully, never).

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

I cannot believe Dykes chose to kick it off.  Then again, thank you for giving McCaffrey a chance to break the AP yardage record.

Re: Big Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-21-2015

Congratulations to McCaffrey.  384 AP yards breaks the record.
