There's never been any indication that those rumors were true, as much as we all wanted them to be. And while Cam did screw up plenty in his time at Florida, by all indications he genuinely changed.

Very nice. I'm the white haired guy in sunglasses. Next to me is my wife, then DIL, then son.

That's a lot of yellow surrounding you. It must have been hard stifling your glee from the first play on.

Two Stanford fans were directly behind us, a Stanford man and two small boys in front, and a Stanford family a few seats away in our row. Everyone else was in yellow, but except for booing us as we took the field, and booing the band, they were pretty quiet. Not the same as sitting with our fans, but not a problem. W never held back :)

What an amazing season, what an amazing game. I think the first half of the Rose Bowl, like others have said, gave me more satisfaction than any other football game. Ever.
I'm really happy for all our guys, but especially Hogan and Shaw who had a harder time reaching the hearts of many fans. But just awesome all around.
For those that need some rewatching, and then a bit more rewatching, and even a wee bit more rewatching, youtube currently has 3 versions:
Full (2:44 hours)
1 hour (1:19 hours)
No huddle (0:45 hours)
And in case you are not aware, you can download internet videos with free services like 9xbuddy. Cheers.

Thanks for the shares! I also didn't know about 9xbuddy. Currently downloading the long version so I can enjoy it whenever I want :)

This may have been addressed but how'd the Stanford fan turnout and support look in the Rose Bowl to those who attended? I've heard conflicting reports on the ratio of Stanford fans to Iowa fans but we sure looked good on TV and in the overhead shots.Â

(Embedded picture isn't working for me so I supplied the link to an overhead shot.)

leftcoast, having been there, I would guess 60/40 or 55/45 Iowa? I was expecting it to be 70/30 Iowa, and I was frankly a little bit stunned at our turnout. It felt like they had an advantage, but not the dominant one I was expecting.

I think 55/45 at worst. I heard going in Iowa had a 5-1 advantage, which I didn't believe. I was worried when I got off the bus. Not many Stanford fans to be found, even as I got around to the north end of the stadium.Â

I had the same impression (massive Iowa advantage) until about 5 minutes before kickoff. Iowa fans found their seats a lot earlier than Stanford fans.

A lot of them were still in shock over the $600 RV parking fee.

That first offensive play neutralized any crowd advantage. So beautiful.

The shuttle bus ride back for me from the stadium to downtown was Iowa: about 30, Stanford: 2. The silence in there was golden. And I couldn't bring myself to say anything since they were already miserable enough. :P
