Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - French Rage - 10-15-2016

This has been a very peculiar half, I think we can agree.

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - FarmBoy - 10-15-2016

I love these number change calls - "63 is now 98". Fantastic stuff.

Very nice play call there.

More of that!  Creative!  Misdirection!

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - BostonCard - 10-15-2016

The shovel to Love.  Great call!

What a cute play. Shaw calls that every so often and it always seems to work.

Have to say the TO was worth it. From five to seven is ...ahh..what's the word?

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 10-15-2016

Love could have run forever.

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - BostonCard - 10-15-2016

The only caveat.... wouldn't it have been better to use that on a third or fourth and short at around the 20?  It would have been a 20 yard touchdown instead of a two-point conversion from the 1 foot yard.

I feel like we've run the naked bootleg a few times.

So Burkett saved the day.  Can't say enough about his effort.  And thank goodness the ND player tried to pick up the ball(???).

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 10-15-2016

Excellent coverage by the kick team.

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - washingtonismoney - 10-15-2016

Nice special teams tackle by Simmons. He had a real nice one last year against N.D. as well.

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - Stymie - 10-15-2016

The best offense is a good defense, or is it the other way around.....?

Re: Stanford - UDFG game thread - BostonCard - 10-15-2016

Yeah, Kaiser must be injured, though the broadcast said he is not.  Defense is playing well.  We had a spy on Zaire on that play.

Yes, and also, it could not have been a fumble because the ball did not come loose until it hit the ground inside the end zone. But we'll take the TD!

Oh boy Tyler.
