Perhaps he read the endless comments on the lack of creativity on the offense. I wonder, if Chryst hadn't been hurt, where would we be? Still lots of time left.

Except for the main one, that Shaw is a stubborn conservative idiot. Going for it on 4th and six there??? Even I was thinking just punt it away!

I am really upset we are always lining up in shotgun formation and running it from there. What are we now a spread offense team with unproven passing offense? Where is the our "intellectual brutality" identity where we line up in I-formation with a FB and kill them with power run and play-action. This shotgun crap works when it is against crappy UCLA defense but it wouldn't against any decent team

Hoping this is a spark like the UCF game a couple of years ago! I know the UCLA defense is Swiss cheese, but the difference in the last two quarters has been amazing!

No, total vindication! The Message Board Maestro theory is that Shaw should go for it a lot more. (To be fair, of course, the Message Board Maestro is not always wrong.)

This seems an odd complaint in a game where we have 206 yards rushing through three quarters.
I never liked Buddys shotgun draw, but running out of the shotgun is working.
