Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

Perfect ending for Chryst.  He just threw it up on a hope and a dream.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - washingtonismoney - 09-16-2017

The worst Stanford loss since, hell, I can't remember. A total disgrace. Coached and played with fear.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

Say bye bye to the top 25.  Not likely to get back there this season.  :(

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - stupac2 - 09-16-2017

I honestly cannot believe we lost that game. What in the world...

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - doubledub - 09-16-2017

Will we see Burns or Costello next week?

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - CompSci87 - 09-16-2017

Yergh. Costello next week? Probably not, but who knows at this point.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - SamAtoms1980 - 09-16-2017

STAY CLASSY
SAN DIEGO

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - JohnR34231 - 09-16-2017

Now Chryst puts the ball up for grabs and gets another pick.

Shaking my head.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 09-16-2017

Chryst is not good

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - Leftcoast - 09-16-2017

That sucks.  A pass thrown short into tight coverage.  What's going on here?

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - amartinsu13 - 09-16-2017

The sad part, we're going to see 2-3 more losses before another QB gets a chance.

One of the worst football games I've ever seen.

You gave your best damn player the ball THIRTEEN TIMES.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - washingtonismoney - 09-16-2017

I can't get over that the offensive coaches have a QB substitution

TO BLOCK THE BACKSIDE OF THE PLAY. Friggin' 19-teens football. GTFO.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - jacketree - 09-16-2017

Shaw quit with time on the clock.

Dumpster fire.

It was a throwback to the bad old days of Stanford football. Play just as well has we have to to lose to a lesser team.

Northwestern was at least a ten win team in a good conference with a good defense. Nope, not in the same category.

I know I've demanded some offensive staff firings, but Bernard Muir also deserves criticism as well. Scheduling SDSU was super dumb, and Muir is a moron.

I was just thinking that. I know that the SEC thing where you schedule one real opponent and creampuffs is nonsense, but it's just how it is. This game should've been UC Davis at home.

Hello...this team is supposed to be a cream puff.  They have one of the worst pass defenses in the country, like Rice bad. How is it the AD's fault that our QB sucks (today) and that our coach calls for FG on the 4 yard line?

Other than hoping for a fumble during the exchange, taking the time outs wouldn't have accomplished anything; SDSU could have ended it with two more knees, regardless of whether we took a time out or not.

Of all the question marks one might have about this game, that seems like a rather trivial complaint.

I have no words.....  ???

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - lex24 - 09-16-2017

Yep. Defense couldn't get off field. Offense consisted of 3 long runs. QB was horrible. And they were badly out coached.
