None of you will believe me, but pre-snap - on 2nd and 6 - I said, "give it to Love."Â (You'll note there was a WR wide).
He is an incredible talent.
I suspect he slowed down at the end because he is seriously beaten up.Â
We'll need one more big play from Love to get any kind of comfort.
BTW, as critical of the obvious plays as I've been, it should also be noted that the D has muffed a few "you gotta make that play" stops on D. Still, I like the way the D is "there" to make the plays.
P.P.S. A lot of time left in this one, but that TD was big.

Early prediction from next year's combine. Love shatters the record in the 40.

Defense is stepping it up. That hold was pretty obvious.

So, it was predictable. Terrible call then. :P

Stanford's D like the rest of us . . . thinking this game is in hand.Â
It is not.

You know Teejers... next year the teams are allowed to have one more coach on staff. You should consider applying.

Why did he slow down at the end? Could have had the ball knocked out.
Yes that would have been catastrophic.

My guess is he was winded. Elevation may be getting to him on longer runs.

A turnover here would be nice.

The Utah coach sees the D alignment and exploits the formation weakness.
What a concept . . .

Sure do like that Phillips character. The DT who leads Stanford in tackles. A DT. Jeez.

It's nice when it's the other team burning a second-half TO to avoid a delay of game.

Anyone think that the play clock being "down" for this entire game is a bit suspect? It's well known that we push the play clock on almost every play.Â

Utah: 317 yards on 60 plays, 5.3 yards per play; 13 points
Stanford: 373 yards on 45 plays, 8.3 yards per play; 23 points
What the copulation are you smoking?
