True, but you can't blame them for that last drive, almost all passes to the sideline and Perez came up big when called upon in the end zone.

Being too hard on them.  There were replacements on the D-line for parts of those drives.  It is a team game.  I don't appreciate comments about players like this.

At least it could be argued that it was smart to have Perez in at the end for his speed and coverage skills. Admittedly they ended up scoring.

You know folks, this wasn't that bad of a season after all, despite the pre-season predictions, iffy QB and O-Line play, tough injuries and the ever present conservative head scratching play calls.  This team even overcame the loss of a starting QB and All-American running back to win a bowl game.
