Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - shinsengumi - 09-23-2017

Can we please have Meeks back on this drive?

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - needle - 09-23-2017

Quote: Stanford loves this play, bunch up on the goal line and slip Shultz out to the wing.

Not run with much frequency, but definitely on film. Hard to believe it fooled UCLA so completely on what amounted to a 3rd and 5.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - martyup - 09-23-2017

Now, does anyone think that Shaw will give Chryst his starting position back next week?

Yeah, we need him back badly.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - BostonCard - 09-23-2017

Love is bringing his YPC average down.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - washingtonismoney - 09-23-2017

Meeks is out there.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - ChicagoCard - 09-23-2017

Will Mora be back next year?

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD -- What is take on Kal ? - ADPATERSON - 09-23-2017

Hey, other than 6 turnovers does Kal not suck with competitive game vs U $ C today?

Part of me actually believe he is stubborn and foolish enough to do so

I can actually see it happening.. something about not losing your starting position because of an injury.

I remember Tavita won the starting job because of injury to TC Ostrander (and of course, that little upset down in LA)

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - ADPATERSON - 09-23-2017

I think the Players will revolt if Shaw brings back Chryst vs ASU.
Costello has easily earned the start.

THE STUBBORN AND FOOLISH (.790, multi-Rose Bowl champion) COACH.

Yes I know appeals to authority are dumb but at a certain point if you're calling a coach with excellent results STUBBORN AND FOOLISH you probably need to rethink some things.

Separately Antoine is just being relentlessly targeted.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - BostonCard - 09-23-2017

We are bringing some pressure against Rosen.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - martyup - 09-23-2017

I just saw Perez make a good play and tackle.  Good for him.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - martyup - 09-23-2017

UCLA scored too easily.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - BostonCard - 09-23-2017

Wilson vs. Perez is a mismatch UCLA will continue to exploit.

The TD was too easy.

Now let’s just get a 7 minute drive to end the game.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - jacketree - 09-23-2017

Sure play way too soft on defense.

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - ADPATERSON - 09-23-2017

Up next:  7min bone crushing drive.
Up 44 - 34 with 7min left

Re: UCLA GAME THREAD - HarbaughBuiltStanfordFB - 09-23-2017

This team has a low ceiling because of this swiss cheese defense

Got some decent pressure on Rosen, but couldn't seal the deal. This is going to be a nail biter - hopefully the UCLA d is gassed with the imbalanced TOP
