Chryst looks defeated out there. He can't want to go back in.

What did Burns do to not get a sniff?
Burns is not good, he's already shown that. The question isn't why he hasn't played, it's why Costello hasn't.
[/quote]
The consensus is that Costello is in the doghouse and is not going to play. Even Burns isn't this bad.

Consensus of this thread? That doesn't really mean anything.
I continue to hold out hope that we see Costello. Shaw has to see that Chryst isn't going to win this game, right?

I've checked out emotionally.
First time in years I've done so as a Stanford football fan.
Oregon State deserves to win.

Well, I keep hoping for a game like UCLA last year, when the offense comes alive late in the game to pull it out.

If this ends up a loss, 100% on Shawgren.
- Team was clearly not mentally ready to play tonight despite a week and a half to prepare
- Keeping Chryst in after halftime and sticking with him is inexcusble

I'm done here for tonight. Enjoy Lex and BC defending Shaw.

Win or lose, we played awfully, and thats on Shaw. And/but, as bad as this is, it doesnt mean Shaw is a horrible coach, any more than last weeks games mean that Petersen, Lynch, or Sweeney were bad coaches.
