In Shaw's eyes. Not sure how many others.

The surrender offense . . . arguably defensible with 4 minutes left and a 10 point lead.  But wildcat . . . where the RB pauses for 2 seconds in the backfield . . . really?

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - BostonCard - 10-07-2017

Scarlett should have caught that.

For a big kid,  Scarlett doesn't stay on his feet after contact nor show a lot of power.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - phxfan - 10-07-2017

David Shaw once again bailed out by his defense.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - cardcrimson - 10-07-2017

from bad to worse. Love hurt. Scarlett drops pass.

Gaffney and Wilkerson ran it much better than Scarlett. Needs a quicker first two steps.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - SpokaneLee - 10-07-2017

Crappy pass.

My god people.  We are up 23-13 with 3:35 left in the game and people are talking like we are down a couple touchdowns.

Guys, why are you being such negative nellies? We have a 10-point lead on the road and just pinned them at their 5 with 3:35 left. This is a really good position!

BC and I are apparently twinsies. The one negative would be if Love is actually hurt, rather than just a little banged up.

On the road AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM with the best defense in the pac 12.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - dabigv13 - 10-07-2017

The main takeaway I got from this game is that Utah with their back up QB is not very good.

Also our offense isn't very good.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - norcard - 10-07-2017

didn't know we're playing USC next week

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - martyup - 10-07-2017

That sucks!!!!  Correct call, though.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - BostonCard - 10-07-2017

Ugh, that sucked.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - teejers1 - 10-07-2017

Brutal loss.
This game is not yet in the bag . . .

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - DC 86 - 10-07-2017

Kalambayi with a strong game but a foolish penalty.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - stupac2 - 10-07-2017

Yeah that was a big-time boneheaded play.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - CompSci87 - 10-07-2017

Crap. We don't want to lose Kalambayi for the first half next week on a meaningless late game play.

Re: Stanford v. Utah live thread - BostonCard - 10-07-2017

Really Teejers, you think Utah's offense is better than ours?
