I don’t know about imploding. Stanford just did jack squat and will punt.

I added the caveat that the game is far from over, but in 5 minutes, WSU threw a pick six, squandered two timeouts, gave up a walk-in touchdown on a broken play, and blew a double digit lead to fall behind by 4. Not a great stretch for them.

Yes, I fell better about our current trajectory then theirs, but we've still left some openings.  Go Card!

Harrison is cracking me up.... D has some swagger back!

Re: WSU Game Thread - jacketree - 11-04-2017

Nice call by Cougs in the hopeless cause category.

Re: WSU Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-04-2017

Would be nice to get a nice long drive for a TD to make it a two possession game.

Not sure it was smart for Irwin to pick that up, but he did get a few yards.

Hurray we made them punt!

Now we need to move the ball and get some points.

Re: WSU Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 11-04-2017

Harrison Phillips . . . the dancing bear!

Re: WSU Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-04-2017

Another third and long.

Shaw with the terrible play calling again.

Re: WSU Game Thread - French Rage - 11-04-2017

Was he down?  Bit of a quick whistle.

Re: WSU Game Thread - jacketree - 11-04-2017

The longest yard.  Need to hold on to field position.

Re: WSU Game Thread - French Rage - 11-04-2017

OK...back to you D.  Another pick-6 wouldn't hurt, but we'll be happy with a stop.

Yeah how dare he call a play that matched up a big tight end with a small defensive back.

The real mistake was not going for it on 4th and 1.

Re: WSU Game Thread - BostonCard - 11-04-2017

I think his butt may have been down, but I would have liked to see that again; he worked hard to stay up.

Nice punt, but that would have been a good spot to go for it on fourth down.

Re: WSU Game Thread - murky - 11-04-2017

Refs aren't calling penalties this game unless they are really obvious.

Re: WSU Game Thread - jacketree - 11-04-2017

Think punting was the thing to do there.

Re: WSU Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 11-04-2017

Refs do seem consistently calling things loose

I am surprised we did not go for it and use our bulk straight ahead

Yup, that one is on Parkinson for poor awareness of the first down marker.

I think they'd justify it under a Stepfan Tayloring.

Re: WSU Game Thread - JohnR34231 - 11-04-2017

Offense still can't get much done, but maybe Falk will throw a pick or something.

Indeed, the play call was sound, it's on Parkinson to have more awareness of the first down marker.
