I think Loves done for the night. Itll be Scarlett Doing his best Love impression.

And a good one at that!

The Stanford record is within reach. Why not let home get it?
[/quote]
Why risk the injury? Why not let Scarlett get the reps? Records don't really mean anything and at that point this wasn't a competitive contest any more.

Dayum!
How do you feel now, BC?
Well I was right to say I didnt think we could keep Rosen and UCLA under 30.
Never been so happy to be wrong about the offense.

Well, if Chryst didn't get his bell rung . . .

2am on the East Coast. How many folks are watching this?
me, living in the east coast doesn't stop me watching every snap of Stanford football every single year.

Boston MA here. I considered going to sleep in the first quarter but opted to hang in. I really should go to bed, but don't want to miss the next big Love play.

From my window here in Scotland, there is a beautiful sun rising over the Firth of Forth towards what used to be called the German Sea. I woke up 2 1/2 hours ago to despair and indifference, but am now in a good place vis a vis Stanford football.
Thank you Mr. Costello

Rosen should not be playing. Not worth getting him hurt again.

They are just padding his stats. I don't like that. Mora is foolish.

Only stay that matters is that neither Rosen nor Mora have beaten Stanford.

Hey, we just beat UCLA for the tenth consecutive time with a score of 58 to 34. We have discovered that Costello is a baller. B. Love is off the hook. Life is looking good at Stanford football.
Knocked them Bruins out!
Re: UCLA GAME THREAD -

Yeah, Mora should've pulled Rosen. Ridiculous and irresponsible to put him out there.
I realize Rosen is a controversial figure, but I admire him. He's clearly incredibly tough and competitive. He's got a hell of an arm. He's probably not everything the hype has him to be, but I think UCLA's faults are more, well, UCLA's than his.

Rosen threw for 480 yards! Wowzers.

This game flipped a 180 after Harrison "Hodor" Phillips turned that field goal back.
Re: UCLA GAME THREAD -
BostonCard - 09-23-2017
Yup. And remember that happened after a UCLA receiver dropped a sure touchdown catch. UCLA could have gone up by 2 TDs. Instead, they got nothing, and Costello led us for the tying TD... and less than a quarter later we are heading into the locker room up 10.

Shaw is holding off on naming Costello the starter:

KEEP CALM. He did the same thing after Hogan's debut against Colorado.

I mean, would anyone expect any different?
...Now, actually doing something other than starting Costello would be bonkers. But he can't just SAY that, gotta make him sweat, or something. I dunno, but I think everyone knew that was coming.
Did we ever learn what happened to Chryst? I didn't notice him leave the field.

He left the field and came back out at the start of the second half wearing a baseball cap.

Doesn't Shaw owe it to Keller to tell him that decision face to face in private than in saying it in a post game press conference...in a game that Keller may have left with a concussion because he's trying to make some extra yards by not sliding? I certainly don't need Shaw to give me all the answers in the press conference. I will be confused if Costello isn't the starter next week but I do believe Shaw should be making the official decision after he's had conversations with all his QBs in private first.
