FarmDad,
I'm willing to reconsider what I just wrote if I misread your intent.
I object[ed] to the word "lesbos" as applied to gay women, but maybe you are making a clever reference to the Greek island or are speaking in Portland's voice and I didn't pick up on that. (I do remember that whole thing.)Â Still, being a homophobic is a far cry from what Sandusky did.
"Sucking lemons" is slang for a certain sexual act, so you might be out of touch with that reference; but honestly I don't know what K is doing in your post anyway. Or why you have him sucking lemons. (K is no worse than Monty in working refs, and while I can't stand losing to Duke decade after decade, I have to respect what K has done.)
Ditto for Charlie Weiss. He's guilty of nothing more than being an overpaid and unsuccessful coach. And I will confess that I referred to him as front butt once on the Hive when GT played them in 2007.
No harm. It's not like you made a grammatical error or anything....

I got the "sucking lemons" reference. It's not so much working the refs, as it is the facial expression one gets, well, you know, one sucks on a very sour fruit.

"Sucking lemons" is a reference to a sexual act?.???? Seriously? I think that's really reaching for some sort of offense. I used that expression, as did my brothers, before we ever heard of sex.. Give me a break.

Even urban dictionary's top definition is:
Quote:Sucking a lemon. The look of disgust in a person that is reminiscent of the face pulled when eating something very tart, such as a lemon.
