Now it's all about controlled offense. No turn overs and you have an 80% chance of at least OT, with Vinateri.

Luck scambles out of bounds at the six, and then subsequences Catouses someone (ro be fari, he was already out of bounds when he did it, and the poor DB tried to jump out of the way to not incur a late hit OOB). Still, was funny to see the defender ragdolled.

Wow, Luck almost throws a game-ending interception. Sometimes it is better to be Luck-y than good.

Going into OT. Amazing

And we are going to overrrrrtime. An unbelievable comeback, but I am sure Indi fans would prefer that "good Luck" came to play before the fourth quarter.

I wonder if Griff can't be a quick, sure-handed, slot possession receiver. Seems that is the intention, but they don't use him much. Couldn't he be used like Doug Baldwin or Wes Welker?

Very strange. Not sure where he was. Maybe just the pass rush getting to him? Who knows?
Indy gets the ball, Carolina's pass rush is so gassed this might get ugly quick if Luck can keep it up.

I think DB and WW have/had more speed than Griff. Those guys can go deep when needed but I don't think Griff has that ability to get separation. I've not really seen him stretch the field like they can.
The Colts/Luck really don't deserve this game with all the almost INTs they've thrown.

Luck is doing his best Hogan imitation with his legs, then just overthrew an open receiver.

His accuracy is totally suspect, but they keep throwing it deep. Is that Pep play calling, or is it Luck?

Veniteri just nailed the go ahead field goal, and it's all up to the defense.

Somebody up there is a Colts fan because a Carolina receiver just dropped a sure touchdown pass.

And the game goes on as Carolina kicks the tying field goal.

Carolina wins with a 52 yard field goal after intercepting a Luck pass.

Luck is playing terrible football. I know his line isn't great, and their defense isn't great, but Luck has costed his team a few wins this season, and just looks like he can't read the field. The injury hurts too, but he's throwing the ball into bad situations when he doesn't need to. He had too many opportunities to win that game, and nearly threw a few other picks.Â

538 Sports still predicts the Colts to make the playoffs with a 55% probability, despite only having a 33% chance of winning this coming weekend against Denver.

The sad thing is, by OT, I fully expected Luck to throw an interception.

Why, just because he basically threw one at the end of the 4th quarter, in the red zone, when he knew that the priority at that point should be to avoid any turnover that would stop their chance of kicking a chip shot field goal to send it to OT? Or because the first play they ran in OT was a run up the gut into the heart of the Carolina defense when Luck has just moved them down the field through hurry up offense, check down passing, and running when no one was open? As soon as I saw that first play of OT, I knew they were playing not to lose and would therefore likely end up not winning.
It seems like the only time Luck and the Colts play well this season is when all is lost, the lead is insurmountable and there's no pressure because it's so unlikely to be positive. Whenever they're in striking distance, the mental errors come out. The errors and poor throws are completely predictable at this point. I love Andrew Luck and will watch with great interest and hope that he turns it around. I even fantasize that somehow this last Q4 would make things click (whereas none of the previous furious comebacks didn't) and they'll go the rest of the way with a 7-1 record or something. But if I'm looking at it objectively, Matt H is probably the best shot at winning the next couple games until Luck "gets right"

Broken ribs will do that to anyone. Anything that uses your core will be affected, including breathing, throwing, running...
