The number one middle LB in the country out of Ga. who according to Tom Lemming has Stanford in his top 5.
https://twitter.com/LemmingReport/status/685657155546943490
If he is not at the top of the Stanford recruiting board, he should be. He runs a 4.4 forty, 10.6 100 meters, and has the body build of a Jack Del Rio or Martinez, Unheard of from a high scool Sr. lb. Of course, the elephant in the room is lack of information concerning is grades or SAT scores.
Stanford leads for LB Jaelan Philips (4.37-GPA), who, based on his recent performance at the LA Nike camp, jumped from 200 in the country to 9th, and a new 5 star ranking. Foster Sarell OT, Wa - Stan/Wa. Darney Holmes CB, Ca-Stan/UCLA. Jeffrey Okudah FS,Tx- Stan/OhSt.
The Nike Camp in Ga. is later this week, and if Mills competes, he could get his 5th star. His highest rating is from Rivals which ranks him 25th in the country, and number 2 pro-style QB. Anthony Hines ILB, Tx-Stan/Tx (He has indicated a desire to visit California, and I assume he means the state and not the school) The fact that he wants to early enrol, could be offset by informing him of the unique summer school program offered to all incoming freshmen football players. A place to bond with fellow students, work-out, learn the play book, get an introduction to academics, and develop new skills for fall camp.
The following 5 stars are being recruited by Stanford, but the level of their interest has not been published: Baron Browning OLB, Tx-Jacob Stevens ATH, Tn-Wyatt Davis OG, Ca.

I forgot about this 5 star prospect. The number 1 Wr in the country from Mich. (Cass Tech, I assumed he was a Mich. lock, until I discovered this article:)

Apparently, he has Stanford in his top 10. What makes him stand out is his reported 4.0 GPA. A Harbaugh/Shaw recruiting battle?
This will be a small class, but it's amazing how many 5 star athletes indicate some interest in Stanford. Note also how many Stan. recruits are being recruited by Al. Does this mean that Stan. has up-graded its recruiting base, or that Al. has become more national?

I've been trying to get on this board for about a month, and almost gave up. The question that stumped me was this one. "What is the name of Stanford sport teams?) I tried Cardinal, Tree, Farm,Nerd Nation, and even Robber Barons to no avail. So what's the answer?

Maybe you typoed it when you tried that one...?

I had the problem for a month also before it worked.

If you got "an error has occurred," it was not that you answered a question wrong. We had a bug that was causing that, recently fixed.

Yeah, I was getting the error message. I assumed it was some kind of bug that would soon disappear. As expected, Bentley is no longer a prospect. On Thursday he commited to South Carolina where he wii join his father. Mills to SU was probably a major factor.

Prospects: An early look....a lot will depend on who visits this summer. (Primary competitor respectively)
Class size 21
OL 2: F Sarell-W Davis/W Little/B Neilon (Wa,USC,Tx,USC)
TE 2: C Parkinson-Tucker Fisk
QB 1: D Mills
WR 2: O St. Brown-T Black (ND,Mich)
RB 1: S Ahmed (Wa)
FB 2: S Hemuli-Lund-B McElwain
DE 3: G Reed-R Johnson-M Andrus (Al,USC)
NG 1: D Wade-Perry (ND)
LB 2: H Hemuli-T Fogg/P Werner (Oh St,ND commit)
CB 2: D Holmes-E Molden (Neb,Or)
FS 2: J Okudah-C Ah You (Oh St,Ok)
SS 1: S Head
2 mission: Lund,Ah You
Notes: Almost everyone on this list has visited recently. I think Okudah visited Jr Day last year. Andrus has stated that Stanford would get one of his 5 official visits. Little, Ahmed, Wade-Perry, and Ah You are visiting this month. Werner and Neilon would probably commit if offered. A teammate of Black recently committed to Mich. Most have yet to take the SAT or ACT which will determine how this class shakes out, but it's a beginning. (5 more DB's. Wow, we will be almost 3 deep with 4 stars at that position. Everyone wants to play for Akina.) I think the max. is 17 for this class. At least 2 will be excluded for academic reasons. Anyone have other prospects that should be included?

Nice post. I think Dalman is still possible at OL and a number more likey than Black at WR.  I think 16 is the high number, but 17 is close enough.Â
