Not the way he thought he'd end his career, I would think. Or maybe his mother's job situation was part of it...
I wish him the best, and I hope he values Stanford much more than he does Michigan!

The article incidentally confirms the terminology for the 3 plays called in the huddle: "kill" goes to the 2nd and "alert" to the third one.
