31-13. If they wanted to it could have been more a blowout, but no reason to hurt anybody and/or let CSU think they have to work hard to win 2 weeks from now, given that they will probably waste themselves trying to beat Bama (and if they do it is of brobdingnagian value for our future prospects).

K State scores on its first drive 3-0. Anderson adjusts. They score a late TD against the scrubs. Snyder knows what he is doing. Shawgren adjusts. Final 38-11, smart guys.
Meanwhile SF State does not lose. 19 seasons without a loss.

Our skill players this year will prove to be too much to handle. I think our OL will have a good showing for a first game, but most of our scores will likely be on explosive plays instead of 1-3 yard rush variety at the end of a methodical drive. New OL for K-state is in from a rough day versus our front. Expect a higher number of TFLs this game as a result.

After the Northwestern opener last year, I think the boys in cardinal will be ready for this game and McCaffrey and the receivers will have a big impact - I am very interested to see how the O-line performs.Â

That was what I was going to predict. With a new inexperienced QB and the replacements on the OL, I don't expect our offense to look like the well oiled machine it did against Iowa.

Christian has himself a day. Both Stanford QBs throw for touchdowns, with Chryst playing much of the second half and showing some competitive fire. Dalton Schultz and McCaffrey actually get the most receptions on the day, as each QB is hesitant to throw deep and focuses on mid-range throws and throws to the flat where Christian gets to show off his speed and ability to break tackles. A couple of first half drives stall in the red zone for field goals, but our defense is stout, leading to a halftime score of 20-9. We have a big third quarter, getting the rest of our points, and K-State adds a late TD against our defensive backups for the final margin.
