I rewatched parts of the game last night.
Marx was out for a few series and then was back for the last drive and seemed fine.
Holder's injury occurred when he tackled a Bruin near the UCLA sideline. It didn't look like a violent tackle, and it was difficult to see how he could have injured himself from the tackle itself. However, after he came off the field the camera showed him getting his jersey off. It appeared that his right shoulder had some sort of brace on it, and that was the shoulder that was causing him some trouble. I wonder if this was an aggrevation of a previous injury.
Meeks was injured while covering a Bruin receiver. There was no contact or difficult cuts on the turf. He did twist a little to make a slight adjustment on his run, and then you could see his left leg was a little lame. Hard to tell what it was.

Apparently at his press conference Shaw talked about the Owusu case, and noted Holder, Meeks, and Marx are questionable. No mention of Taboada. This makes me surmise he was not injured.
Some claimed he played, but I don't quite remember and he is not listed on the (not very accurate) participation report.

Taboada injured maybe early 2nd quarter. He did play. BTWE Fanika was dressed and did not play.

Brutal. We picked one of the worst weeks for the injury bug to bite. You know that UW will test our backup DB's. Here's hoping that Alexander and Murphy step up.
As they say, "I gotta bad feeling about this"

This is one of the worst injury lists I can remember since, probably 2011 when all of Luck's receivers were injured.

Thinking of the year when all our running backs were out. Would have been Toby's sophomore(?) year?

Have to say that Marx being out is a little weird considering he came back in and played the latter part of the fourth quarter in the game on Saturday. It's not the first time that on further review the injury is somewhat worse than initially believed, but still a little surprising.
Meeks and Holder being out is gonna be a challenge.

My guess is that one or more freshmen will play in the secondary. But I wouldn't expect Stanford to blitz more or deviate much at all from how they would otherwise defend against Washington.

We'll probably see big cushions at the LOS, taking away the deep balls, and daring Browning to make the short throws (or for UW to run) consistently. It normally works okay against college QBs, but the pass rush will need to get home faster than it did against UCLA or we'll get picked apart.
