Re: Stanford in the NFL - Nan3cy - 12-15-2016

Wow, if the Packers draft CMac, it will make up for years and years of my second-favorite team (based on growing up in Madison during the Lombardi days) having absolutely no Stanford guys -- and drafting two Weenie quarterbacks (though not very many people even remember Rich Campbell, I suspect -- and maybe Rogers doesn't even consider himself a cal guy). What fun it would be to watch a team with Ty and Christian on offense and Blake in defense. (Right, Terry?)  :)

In the player intros on Sunday/Monday night games he does always introduce himself as "Aaron Rodgers, Butte Junior College".

I don't think he always does, I think he says different things.

I missed it, but apparently this past Sunday he did reference Cal in the intro, but it was the first time in five years that he did so.

Doug Baldwin with the long TD.  It was 1 yard, LOL.

Apparently Sherman was upset that the Seahawks called a pass there.

Quote:"Between what he was saying and what Doug [Baldwin] was saying, Doug was saying, 'Give me the ball.' And Richard was saying something else," Carroll said. "I needed those two guys to go sit down and have a little timeout and talk it over what we should do next.

BTW, Sherman knocked Goff out of the game when Goff scrambled but then didn't get out of bounds.

Oh I'll bet they're boiling over on BearInsider. Shayne Skov's hit on him in Big Game is still a topic that prompts wing flapping.
