Stanford 58-3.

Re: Stanford/Rice cardboard prediction game - CPSteeple - 08-21-2017

Stanford 27
Rice 7

Stanford builds comfortable lead early and proceeds to take the foot off the gas in the 2nd half.

Stanford - 35
Rice - 13

Yes, it is difficult be be original when one predicts late. My Stanford score is tempered by the fact that its the first game and much of the playbook with its multiple variations wont see the light of day. A conservative approach will keep the Stanford offense down under it's capabilities.

PS Nobody has proposed any changes to the scoring, so I think we will keep the scoring as it was last year.

34-14 Stanford. Many fans throw in the towel on the season after winning by only 20 (with one of the TDs coming from the defense).

G'day mates!  I'm trusting Vegas on this one, or else I'd probably underestimate just how bad Rice is.

Stanford 41
Rice 10

Good onya, mates!

Umm, can you explain?  I would think Rice would be a high carb food (assuming you mean Rice 13).  Not sure how we are "high protein".

Yes, high fiber (Tree) vs. high carb (Rice) would make more sense to me.

Maybe it's brown rice.

I wouldn't mind at all if Stanford moved to red Texas.

This from Fox Australia: "(Stanford) practice on Wednesday ... was abruptly “closed”.

End of 3d 34-7 Stanford. Then the turtles:
