An opponent of our opponents, but MSU just scored a TD to go up 28-7 against Western Michigan. The line was -7 and Connelly projected a 10 point game. It's all limited data points, of course, but it suggests SC's close shave against WMU was less impressive than you'd previously have thought. (A lot of people were insisting that WMU was better than most people thought because of PJ Fleck's work in building up the program etc.)

And, UWM is not having success running the ball on the Spartans, while they ran the ball with ease against the Trojans.

Somehow Oregon hasn't scored in the second, even after a big return on a Nebraska INT, they settled for a FG attempt and it went way wide. They're looking a lot less impressive, I wonder what the deal is.

136% completion rate! He's completing passes he didn't even throw!
In other news, Rutgers lost to Eastern Michigan, kinda surprising UW didn't beat them by more if they're really still that bad.

Nebraska's QB is spending a lot of time missing a lot of makeable passes (in the most recent series I've seen).
On the other hand, Oregon's tackling appears better than the last two years, but hardly good (or even average).

The nebraska QB is pretty decent when throwing to Oregon DB's.

Yup. To be fair, my main worry with Chryst is his accuracy. He seems to miss a lot of layups.

Looks like Weber State ends with a turnover on downs at the Cal 10. Less than 3 minutes so that might be enough for Cal to sneak away with it.

Yup... cal survives Weber state. It sounds like rumors of Cal's defense are greatly exaggerated (ditto oregons)
