Little is starting and LT.

I wasn't smiling thinking that Bailey is our best offense,
but GoodGrief's ad brought a smile to my face.  8)

Five passes and one run to start the game. "It's what we do". Good grief.

Good grief. wouldn't post. wouldn't post, would'nt post. Now its two runs and seven passes. It's still what we do.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - North Woods - 09-16-2017

One yard average per possession isn't a great start.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - washingtonismoney - 09-16-2017

This offensive performance is totally shellshocked so far. It's very strange. The first game and a half was pretty good, offensively. The 2nd half against SC was, admittedly, poor. But either the coaches or the players apparently got totally unnerved by it.

Or maybe it's SDSU's distinctive 3-3-5 defense. Even then, UC-Davis and ASU had a lot of success against it. This is a strange and disturbing first three series.

Naturally right after I asked that they showed the graphic. Doesn't seem to be working! Really curious about all the passing we're doing, I assume something about the matchup...

In happy news, I see GoodGrief's chicken mascot commercial is still playing!

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

Two missed tackles

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - amartinsu13 - 09-16-2017

3 yards of offense in 9 plays. whatever the hell your gameplan was, do the opposite. and on the next drive.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

Nice D.  That was grounding.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

Roughing the passer gives them a 1st down.  Poop.  :(

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

Our nerds need to get angry.

Thanks JJJ! I'm happy it's still running!

So far the SDSU defense is making our offense look pretty pathetic. Are they really that good?

Yay!!!

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

One of the worst first quarters we've played in a long time.

Anyone find an online stream of the game? My usual go to's don't seem to be working.

Yea, there seemed to be no discussion of that. It looked like grounding to me.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - martyup - 09-16-2017

First Quarter -- 0 first downs, 3 yards total offense.

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - Treefence - 09-16-2017

5 quarters in a row where we've been dominated in the trenches.  This isn't a usual feeling...

Re: Stanford at SDSU Game Thread - amartinsu13 - 09-16-2017

That was one of the ugliest offensive quarters I've ever seen as a fan of Stanford football: 3 yards of offense. 0-3 on 3rd down.
