The first INT was both a bad decision and a bad throw. When you throw toward the sideline you have to put it where only your guy can get it or it goes OB.

Hard to do when there are 4(!) defensive players there, with one of them closer to the sideline than your receiver. :) I would argue there is no way to make a good throw under those circumstances.
FWIW, Shaw seems to be looking at this, at least publicly, as a one game aberration. I don't buy it. I am guilty of an "eye test" criteria for Stanford QBs. Chryst hasn't shown me he can execute the designed throws accurately and repeatably even with no pressure, let alone zip one in there when it is a tight window and the play is breaking down. Now, we have had (in the somewhat distant past) some guys that could make the designed throws but couldn't actually deliver wins. I haven't seen Chryst show me enough to make me feel he is even in that category. I guess that is why Shaw has the job and I don't.

OK, I can stand corrected on that. Shaw said as much himself. I am not a great fan of the "jump ball", as the DB can often get a hand in there and pop the ball up. It requires a throw that is just too high for the DB and not too high for JJAW. Easy to have a slight error there, but if that is all you have, I guess you have to give it a shot. Still, lots of things can go wrong. Better if you are just open :)

Then you throw it out of bounds!

Well I interpret that to mean he's got next weekend to fix it or that argument won't hold water. I agree with you I don't see "it" in him.
