Man, don't let those Georgia fans know you've stolen their DWAG mascot, even if a Coug.

A tun is a large container of wine or some other booze. I dunno if BC is "tuns of fun" at parties but if so he'd better start inviting me!

Re: 5 Reasons UW Wins on Saturday - Baysmen - 11-07-2017

These are the same WSU Cougar trolls trying to make UW bad. They’ve been doing this for years.

I read their posts to my friends in Portland and they think these guys are not very nice. I AGREE.

Who can forget last year's effort by PrupleHose396?

Quote:I know some of you already are having doubts about the game, but I got to throwdown why I think the Huskies win this game. Saturday is going to be a WAR!

1. Jack "COBRA" Browning - He is the best player on the field, enough said on that. He has a whole season under his belt and he will do everything possible to win the game. Off the scale with clutch ness. He was a monster among boys at Folsom, broke all the records of the land.

2. Offensive Line - They average a weight of 332 lbs across the line, they are ready to dominate the line of scrimmage. Tray Adams, Brostek, Center, ןɐɔ McGary, Yip Harris, Biggie Ossai etc. These boys have the attitude and are ready to rumble.

3. Kawasaki - New Defensive Scheme and a new attitude. Every player has spoke out about the difference between last week and this week, we will see a much improved defense on game day.

4. Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest UW team has been in a long time. Budha Baker, John Ross 3, Charlie McClutchins, Gaskin, "Jack" Daniels, Dotson, Lil'Ossai, even Labron Coleman got faster this off season. The newbies will be inexperienced but will bring something that they haven't had in past seasons, which is speed. Like Joyner.

5. Time of Possession - I think UW can dominate the time of possession stat. The more they can shorten the game and keep their defense on off the field, the better chance we have to win the game.

I'm usually using my head to think about this games but not today, but I am trying to think with my heart instead. So, I think UW wins this one rather easily on National Television, say 34-17....

Sad but hey, you gotta respect the effort.  Keep it coming Simple Jack.

After reading all that, might as well not even play the game.

Sigh.
Some people have complained about the “quiz” given before new users can post.

IMO the quiz is too short and too easy.

Re: 5 Reasons UW Wins on Saturday - SamAtoms1980 - 11-11-2017

Watching the game last night it was clear that the Washington offense and defense, as they are currently operating, can kill poor and mediocre teams.  They have relied on their opponent rolling over for them after the first hard punch.  When their opponent can get up off the mat and punch back, as we did last night and ASU before, they have been at a loss as to knowing what to do.

Since Washington did not score until the fourth quarter against ASU, I'm not sure the Huskies threw any early hard punches in that one. Maybe on defense.

Assuming that's true, however, since Wazzu is presumably capable of doing that, you wonder about their game. Also Wazzu has just showed that they can play fairly well on the road. I would call the Husky/Coug game pretty much a tossup, giving Washington the slight edge because the game is in Seattle.
