Just got done watching without knowing the results. Had my doubts a few times in 2H but am relieved that we didn’t totally cough it up. Onward and upward!

Watched a little bit of it after the fact. Refs were calling EVERYTHING.

It feels like we've gone back to 1999 so in terms of officiating.  Look the wrong way at the guy with the ball, and it's a foul.  Not a fun game to watch, though we held up well in the face of adversity (mostly from the referees). 

Great game from Okpala.  He did an amazing job defending Tinkle.  I'll bet Tinkle got well over half his points when Okpala was resting--Pickens couldn't keep up with Tinkle on defense.  And Okpala had a good shooting night, at 4-7.  He hit some floaters that he'd been missing in recent games.  He seems to be finally slowing down a bit and keeping his shots under control--Davis went through the same transition about 10 games into his career.

Travis hardly touched the ball in the second half.  This isn't the first time that Travis had a great first half and disappeared in the 2nd.  We need to find ways to get him the ball even when the opponent is focused on denying him touches.

I've been noticing for a while that a seemingly large percent of our shots on offense get blocked.  I looked up the numbers, and my hunch is right.  We are 326th in D-I in the % of shots blocked.  Combine that with our difficulties finishing at the rim (not on display last night, thankfully), and I'll bet that our % of successful attempts in the restricted area is as low as anyone in a power conference.  That is something that Haase needs to be working on.
