Miller has a bit of a rocky start and gives up 2 runs, giving the Titans their first lead of the series.
0-2, mid 1st.

The announcers pointed out that Stanford batters were officially 4 for 4 in that inning (plus 2 sac flies and a caught-stealing third out).
And it looks like the old "block S" still lives on in the batting helmets!

This is a looong game (not what "getaway Sundays" are made of).
B5: 5-3, man on 3rd, 2 away, and they bring in a new pitcher as we cut away for a commercial break (except there are no commercials).
Late add: we strand the runner on 3rd, so it's 5-3 after 5, 2 hours into the game...

DH-turned-pitcher Bakst gives up a 2-run homer in his 2nd inning of work and is replaced by Carson Rudd who gets 2 outs before giving up a single and is replaced by Jacob Palisch.
6-5, T7 still going. Will the game be over before the hoops game in 75 minutes???
*Late add: we get out of that half of the inning without further damage. 6-5, for the 7th inning stretch.

The announcers didn't seem to keep us in the loop during the game (Bakst went from DH to P but hit again even though he was replaced on the mound), but in the last inning, Esky pulled the following move:
Inserted Branton at 2B
Kuet went from 2B to 3B
Tawa went from 3B to CF
Wilson went from CF to LF
Stowers went from LF to P.
Wow. Can't argue with the results, though. WE SWEPT FULLERTON. Karma?

I did t know Stowers was a pitcher and he stikes out the 3rd out with a runner on 3rd

I think we have a pretty good team here... 3-0 sweep of the Titans. Excellent. Congrats to coaching staff and team.
