I never heard about Chou and Stanford but maybe she committed early to Baylor.

In any case we have the full 15 on scholarship.   Cal thinks they will get her.  Three days ago their mod said big news coming.  We are waiting lol

McGuire shocked me.  And being 6th woman is 15-16 or so minutes a Game. Don’t think it’s playing time.   But yes Oregon is loadrd and Young

Ucla hosted a potential Stanford recruit last weekend

Hebard’s team played in the End of Trail in Oregon City.  I was there for two games with the well know not espn ranked of players  but she didn’t play.

Like Alleyne before her a surprise in college.

Here's a Cardboard thread about Chou when she still had us on her list and we were discussing her:

It appears we were at least on her long list, because there are a half dozen threads from back in the day when various among us were talking about her as a possibility. All well. C.al would be a good landing spot for her - better than some of the other PAC-12 schools that are already going to be rough sledding for us!

We speculated about her here, and she had us on her long list for a while, but we could never confirm that we were seriously recruiting her.  There was a story which said she had "all As and Bs" in high school which is probably not good enough for Stanford, so my guess was that she and the coaches figured out that she would not make it in.

That is what makes it so hard to read what happens--most people who would be "rejected" by admissions actually are not rejected because they never apply.  The coaches are pretty good at knowing who will make it in and who won't and will turn their attention to more likely prospects long before we fans know the reasons why.

ESPN has an updated recruiting rankings for the Class of 2018.

We are ranked #10 as the highest ranked Pac-12 team with surprisingly Arizona next at #14. No other Pac-12 team made the Top 20.

Baylor is #1 and UConn is #2.

USC has added Cheyanne Wallace a grad transfer from Loyola Marymount.  She was their leading scorer at 13 per game

Wow. That's a little bit of a head scratcher, but best of luck to her. I still never understood why things didn't work out on the Farm.
