Gotta say, pretty much the entire point of trash talking is to enrage and to disrupt your opposition, if I understand it correctly, which I probably don't. Being old school I usually can't stand it, but I grew to love Ali's use of it. In it's best form it can be hilarious. Like anything, though, there are those few who can use it creatively and effectively and those without the intelligence to do so. Unfortunately, some aspect of the Pareto hypothesis is in effect at both ends of the distribution curve
