Don’t particularly enjoy the sense of false entitlement at SC and the Domer school so yeah, kick their azz.
The SI/SH rivalry in San Francisco was as fierce as they come but I don’t hate them and some of my best friends were Irish players. I did enjoy beating them.

$C and UCLA fans are always the most obnoxious visitors, so it’s the most fun to send them home disappointed.
I grew up in the Bay Area and a lot of my best friends went to Berkeley, so I don’t really have any animus in that direction. Besides, my brother, my niece and I went to Stanford, and my dad and my daughter went to Berkeley, so I’m long past the oft-juvenile attitude some Stanford folks cling to about UCB.
ND fans have always been nice in our stadium, and especially as hosts the 2 times I’ve been to South Bend, so while it’s very satisfying to beat ND, I don’t take it personally.
My definition of a rival is who are the jerks you like to send home in the most abject disappointment and humiliation. The SoCal schools consistently fit that profile, and $C is clearly #1.

By that definition, UW, no question. If they can't win, they want to see everybody else they know be miserable too.

Sorta like the Stanford Sierra camp/conference center but with more free-floating animus.
The deal is: Yes we're all adults and understand that UCB is a quality educational institution. But that is NOT a transitive property that relieves Kal football from its weenie-ness. But you'll get a much deeper, more thorough introduction to this fine distinction during your camp experience.

LOL the road to the Rose Bowl hasn’t gone through Berkeley since....Casey Moore in 1999.
Whereas Tommy Toejam and the Duckies have been standing squarely in the way a lot.
I’ll admit I have no fondness for those frat weenies up near Strawberry Canyon. But that’s not enough to make me attend a bonfire anymore, not even at the Sierra Camp. I just think we’re beyond the years where we went 5-6 or 2-9 but “at least we won Big Game.”
Times change. UCB is no longer relevant on the football field. They might whip us this year, but that’s more on us than it is a credit to them.

I, too, don't go to bonfire any more, but that's because it reminds me of my law school experience.

I, too, don't go to the bonfire anymore, but that's because it was last held in 1992.

Don't know where he could have picked that up.
I can endorse the Axis of Evil. Although we may have different ideas about which team deserves the most animosity, I think we can all join hands and unite in abhorrence of the Axis of Evil.

kal is the Enemy--the People's Enemy, if you will. U$C is the Evil Empire. Oregon and UW are "new money" rivals owing to the new Pac-12 partitioning. The Ducks and Huskies were rivals before, but their divisional rival status makes them all the more important to surpass in the road to the conference championship. ND is a rival off to the side, those privileged folks you want to beat every year, but if you get beat by them, you hope they do well so that you can look good. Everyone else besides ND who beats Stanford--I hope they languish in misery afterward.
