It usually ends up that way when you run right into the only defender in the area. Next time, he might want to try a juke.
I couldn’t tell whether there was supposed to be a blocker, but generally you don’t want to have a guy in a position to make a play unblocked.

True, but the defender has to make that play. You can’t ask for more than a defender unblocked in a position to make a play in the backfield.

End of first quarter. I actually really liked the Wilson end around. He just didn't come close to beating the D-end in space, which is...surprising. I also liked getting the TE in motion behind the line of scrimmage, then the quick toss.
The offense looks bleak for now, but I still have hope things can get turned around.
