Auburn (11/10), UMass (11/17), and Georgia Tech (11/24).

Mississippi State (11/10), Citadel (11/17), and Auburn (11/24).

Which ones in these lists are not like the others?

We really should try the whole "creampuff before a rivalry game" thing. Unless UC Davis before Oregon counts, in which case we're currently doing that.

FUNNY.   How about a "Cream Puff Sandwich" on the RIVAL GAME?:
ORST (2-7), then KAL, followed by UCLA (2-7).
Hey - Hey -- I know, there are no cream puffs in the Pac-12.  Sure I get it.
But who are the two worst teams in the Pac-12 this season?

All fine except for one thing. Stanford traditionally has trouble with cream puff games. In the past, they often turned into nail biters or losses. Last year, OSU almost beat us, in fact by all rights should have. We all have hoped that those days are over, but I think it is the nature of the beast. Stanford tend to "mail it in" against teams they think they should beat. Not good, but true, IMHO.

Playing down to the competition was another trait of Stanford teams that I hoped we had gotten over in the Harbaugh/Shaw regime. Last year we sure did it against OSU, we'll see how it goes this year. The Beavers gave Wazzu a pretty good battle for three quarters, so they are capable of playing decent football.
