And the Freshman transfer catcher Terra McGowan from ASU has been denied to play this season. Mike White leaving another path of destruction in the Pac 12.   First Stanford now Oregon.

Thanks rkc for the share. A hilarious quote from that article: "The statement also said that there will “likely be multiple additions to the roster before the season begins.”"

So, if a big issue with Balint was Terra McGowan's immediate transfer being blocked, and her not being eligible to play until next season, where are these 'multiple additions' supposed to come from? Is Oregon going to have to recruit players from the club team, as if club softball is in any way comparable to elite, top-2 conference Division I softball? Also, it is like 3-4 weeks into the start of the term at most schools (imagine Oregon is similar to Stanford). How can anyone transfer in 3-4 weeks into the term?

I think the deadline to add players is already here of passed so they have to play with what they have.

And now apparently (confirmed on Oregon softball Twitter feed and by player) Oregon has lost one of only three remaining seniors to an ACL tear. With that injury being a season-ender, Oregon has 12 available players (with McGowan's ineligibility this year) left.
