My favorite moment of this game was when I was born 4 years later.

I wonder how many Stanford legacies were born 9 months later.

Ugh! I knew that, of course. Not sure why I wrote that. I'll correct.

Very Best Big Game Memory Ever.

The Cardinal fan sitting next to me started swearing and stormed out after the conversion was intercepted.  I looked at him and said "don't leave...you never know".   He responded "of course I know" and left.  Wish I could talk to him again.  :-)

I fear it was the latter fan who seems to have based their prediction most on what Stanford had been doing for the years prior to that point.

Overall, I thought this thread was going to degenerate to haikus ...

Milburn, White go nuts
Missed pat Hell, field goal Heaven

Best game I’ve seen in person.

I think it was the best game I had seen up to that point.

However, in honor of our Bear Lurkers I must say...
2013 Rose Bowl was AMAZING.  Witnessing the joy from the players and staff was priceless.
And honestly, no game was ever more fun than the 2016 Rose Bowl.  THAT was the best Stanford game I have seen in person.

Disclaimer:  I want to see close and entertaining games when I don't really follow the teams in the contest.   I prefer to watch Stanford win the important games by big margins.

2011 @ U$C is the best game I've ever seen and I think the only way it gets surpassed is if I see Stanford win a natty

You just screwed it by saying "natty".

Exactly.  Best game was Stanford 55, USC 21 and Pete Carroll's post-game inquiry.
