I really think the SEC gets two teams (LSU, Bama), and Oregon/Utah gets left out. Happened with Ohio State a couple of years back.

Lex, my son is with the Grizzlies. The Liberty Bowl is three blocks from his house. Plus Memphis is always exciting... can’t be stopped, can’t stop.

Here is an interesting scenario: Utah loses to UCLA and one other team, while Oregon loses to OSU and one other team. If the Beavs and the Bruins otherwise win out, this would set up an Oregon State-UCLA Pac-12 championship. Far-fetched, but still a possible scenario. Who would have considered this even remotely possible at the beginning of conference play?

The odds of UCLA beating Utah are virtually zero. But, for the first time in a long time, Oregon State might actually be considered a tough game for Washington. Friday night game in Corvallis too.
Colorado solidified itself as the worst team in the conference this week. Stanford absolutely cannot lose to the now lost 5 in a row Buffs, especially coming off a bye.

FWIW - Colorado is not that bad. Stanford could easily win or lose any of the last three conference games. Winning all three would be great, but I would not be shocked if Stanford lost all three. That's the Pac-12 in 2019. There is Oregon on top with 11 other teams that are more or less able to win or lose on any given Thursday/Friday/Saturday.

IMO, the most likely scenario is we beat Colorado and Kal and lose to Wazzu in Pullman and ND.
I've seen enough Stanford football to have very little shock me, but I would be very unpleasantly surprised if we lost all four, and very pleasantly surprised if we won them all.
I'd be very happy with us winning three of them to go 7-5, then if we can win our bowl game this won't go down as the worst season in Shaw's head coaching time here.

How can anyone say Colorado isn't that bad? They have given up at least 30 points in every game played, have the worst defense in the conference, and have lost 5 games in a row. Arizona is better and beat Colorado in Boulder, even though they just gave up 56 at home to Oregon State.

Colorado nearly beat SC in Boulder last week. They may be the worst team in the conference,
but they definitely are not hapless. Also, their conference win was a road win at ASU.
Also, I would add to Farm93's post that I would include Utah with Oregon. Otherwise as Farm said,
anyone can beat anyone, and the records (both conference and otherwise) show it.

Would also be very happy with this, except IMO this would still go down as the worst season.
Oh, and yes. Colorado is awful. UCLA murdered them yesterday.

Colorado isn't very good. However, like most teams, they are better at home. It is also going to be a bit cold, which may help them. By all rights, Stanford should win this one. However, we have to do more than just show up. We aren't good enough to play down to our competition and get away with it. I am sure Shaw knows this. I hope the team does. UCLA murdered us too, on the road. Granted, no KJ made a difference. However, no OL play made a difference too. Can't have that next Saturday.

Actually I think we may get a break in the weather. I understand Boulder has had some snowstorms over the last couple of weeks, but the forecast for Saturday shows it to be mostly sunny with a high of 61.

Well, John we still have a road game on the Palouse after Colorado, so I think our odds are pretty high
of playing a snow game one way or the other.

Memphis/SMU... every bit as good as advertised. Shane Beuchel another one who got away.
