Class. I though drafted by the nationals
He was hurt a lot and doubt he made the majors.
Storen was selected by the Nationals. I looked at all the draft picks from Stanford from 2007 to 2012 (Storen was drafted in 2009) and I didn't see anyone from the Northeast, covering New England, NJ, NY, PA, etc.

Interesting guy. From age 18-25, he played in rookie and low A ball, only making high-A one year. I'm guessing he never played for Stanford, then attended Stanford and played low minors every summer.
Do I have that right?

Do you mean in the Super Bowl or do you mean in any NFL game that season or ever (i.e., was just on a roster)?
Toi Cook? (thinking he might have been on bench late in career for a SB winner).

Won a ring but played no downs that season. He usually calls me at 5am on my birthday and my spouse too.
Hint: Semi famous father
Hint 2: Dad not born in The Netherlands.

Sandy turned down a big offer from the Angels in high school (the last "bonus baby" year) to come to Stanford. He went 15-0 on that 1967 team, including 4 wins in the post-season. After his injuries forced his early retirement, he became a successful landscape planner and architect in the Bay Area. Truly one of the nicest people I've had the privilege to meet.
